Wind power is yet another source of alternative energy and being used successfully in many countries. However, would it work everywhere? I think it's good for windy areas especially in sea areas with large and windy empty areas? What do you think about it?

Wind is a green energy, it is also renewable energy, however, I don't think wind power will work every where. It works only in the windy areas close to the sea or in the mountains. In order to generate energy, there should be strong wind to rotate the turbines of the wind mills, which is only possible if there is strong wind current.

That's one of the shortcoming of this natural source of energy at a very reasonable price. We cannot use it everywhere. It also reminds me of turbine based thermal small scale thermal projects successfully catering to needs of people living in mountains where electricity has not yet reached.

Of course, it won't work everywhere. The source itself is wind and there are only few resources where wind could be tapped like the seashore or an open field where wind passes by.
